Liberty County and Chatham County Democratic Committees Host VIP Reception

HINESVILLE, Ga. – Chairman W. Renea Camper and members of the Liberty County Democratic Committee (LCDC) will host a VIP and general reception, “An Evening Under the Oaks,” with a surprise special guest and live entertainment on Saturday, April 30, beginning at 5 p.m. at Club Stewart, 1020 Hero Road, Building 405, Fort Stewart, GA 31314. Dress is casual and all tickets include the evening’s entertainment, hearty hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.

LCDC will use proceeds from this event to fund 2022 “Get Out the Vote” (GOTV) operations and activities for all Democratic candidates on the ballot. Support from local businesses and community members is crucial to getting Democrats elected and keeping Georgia blue. The event is co-hosted by the Chatham County Democratic Committee and Chairman James “Jay” Jones.

Local, state and federal Democratic candidates, all elected officials, citizens, business owners and organizations are invited. Advance tickets are $55 if purchased by April 15, and sponsorship opportunities are available online. According to Camper, who is also vice chairman of the Georgia Democratic Party’s 1st Congressional District, “An Evening Under the Oaks” culminates a weekend of meetings and critical political events in coastal Georgia.
