Game Developer-World War 3 Brings Authentic, Tactical Warfare On November 25

World War 3 brings tactical gameplay, a huge arsenal of authentic weapons, and maps closely modeled on the real world.

MY.GAMES and The Farm 51 are excited to announce that their World War 3 Tactical Online FPS is entering its closed beta phase. Closed beta testing (CBT) will begin on 25 november and operate until the launch of the Open Beta Test (OBT) scheduled for March 2022, as well as a new content update and transition to a free distribution model.

World War 3 aims to provide a completely authentic tactical experience that evokes real warfare while remaining accessible. The game features weapons closely modeled on real weapons used by real armies around the world. Realistic gameplay features like ballistics, physics, and full body awareness combine to create a truly authentic and immersive modern combat experience. Additionally, players engage in team skirmishes on maps closely based on their actual locations in Berlin, Warsaw, Polyarnia and Moscow.

CBT marks milestone for the game as a veteran Alpha test, playable in September, showed renewed interest in World War III. With revitalized maps, a revised shooter, redesigned character animations, and a wide range of performance and game stability improvements, WWIII is poised to spread to a wider audience.

This CBT will be available to players with pre-order packs and those who purchased the game when it was originally released in Early Access (any purchase before October 4, 2021). In addition, these veterans are credited with an exclusive item pack and a Lieutenant Pack value $ 49.99 in appreciation for their initial support for the project. Players can claim these freebies by logging into their Steam account on the game’s official website.
