Game Developer – Skul: The Hero Slayer Gets Its Reunion Update Just In Time For Xbox GamePass

Skul: The Hero Slayer, the hit 2D roguelite platformer published by NEOWIZ and developed by SouthPAW Games, joins the ranks of Xbox GamePass today, and to celebrate little skelly with all the crazy heads is getting a brand new update.

More of a “Balance” update for Skul’s many maneuverable noggins, the Reformation update takes a drastic pass to the balance of most skulls in the game, adjusting factors like damage, kill time, and more. skill recharge and range. In addition to the big balance update, the update also includes improved visuals and a hit delay for all skulls.

The human race attacking the Demon King’s castle is nothing new and has happened countless times before. What makes this time different though, is that the Adventurers have decided to partner with the imperial army and the “Hero of Caerleon” to lead an all-out assault in hopes of eliminating the Demons once and for all. They attacked the demon fortress with overwhelming numbers and succeeded in its total destruction. All of the demons in the castle have been taken prisoner except for a single skeleton named “Skul”.
